Hoping to locate the father of William Reese who married Rebecca Black in 1825. William was born in TN around 1808. Rebecca was supposedly born in MO. It is thought that William or both William and Rebecca were of Cherokee descent and that if Rebecca was born also in TN, they may have migrated from TN through southern IL, to MO with the Trail of Tears. SURNAMES: BYRD
William Byrd was born Sept. 1862 in Tenn. He moved to Missouri and married Eliza Ann Byrd in Black, Mo. Reynolds Co. on June 16, 1897. He is listed on the 1900 Reynolds Co. Census with wife Eliza Ann and daughter. He died in 1906 or 1907 at Black, Mo. This is all the information I have on my grandfather. I am trying to find information on my Grandfather William J. Byrd. He married my grandmother on June 16, 1897 at Black, Mo. He is on the 1900 Census at Black, Mo. and he died at Black, Mo. late 1906 or 1907. This is all the Info I have on him. He is buried near Black, Mo. but I can't seem to find out where. Can you help? I am looking for information on Woodson and Nancy Jennings.I found them in Ste Genevieve Co.Then in Dent Co with 9children on a 1870 census.Then in1880 in Reynold but Woodson was not on the census and only 4 children.Would you know where he is buried.And then in Iron Co with 2children.James and John. Searching for Morris/Maurice ADAMS, b abt 1843 in Missouri. His parents were Nelson & Rebecca ADAMS. In 1869 Morris ADAMS married Irena CLARK in Dent County. They say he was a "preacher" and traveled around a lot. In 1877 a daughter, Almedia Irene ADAMS was born in Reynolds Co, Missouri. They had at least two other children, Charley, and unknown.. Irena CLARK ADAMS died between abt 1880 & 1899. Morris ADAMS married Eliza JENKINS abt 1900. He died in Washington Co. in the 1930's. Irena CLARK ADAMS is my great great aunt. We are trying to make a connection to her. She had two sisters who married MINCHER brothers from Crawford County, Missouri. The CLARKS were from Ohio.
